- Is iFancy free?
- Yes, and there are no ads. iFancy is funded through affiliate links, which cost you nothing extra when you buy something through a link on a list.
- Do people need an account to see my wishlist?
- No. If your list is public, anyone can open it in any browser with just the link — no account, no app download.
- Will I find out what someone bought me?
- Not until you choose to. When someone marks an item as purchased, it stays hidden from you — including who bought it — until the reveal date you set. Everyone else can see it, so you will not get duplicates.
- How do I add an item?
- Paste the product link. iFancy reads the page and fills in the image, title, and price automatically. A few sites do not publish useful data, in which case you can enter the details yourself.
- Can I have more than one wishlist?
- Yes. Make as many as you like — a birthday list, a Christmas list, one for a child or a pet — and each list has its own visibility setting.
- Can I hide a specific item from certain people?
- Yes. Individual items can be hidden from specific people, which is useful when one thing on a shared list is meant for one person only.
- Can I stop people from finding me in search?
- Yes. You can remove yourself from search results entirely and share your profile by link only. You can also make your whole profile visible only to people who follow you.
- Is there an Android app?
- Not yet. iFancy is on the web and the iOS App Store. The web app works well on Android in the meantime.
- Does iFancy sell anything or take payment?
- No. iFancy never sells products or processes a checkout — you always buy from the retailer directly.
- How do I delete my account?
- You can delete your account from Settings in the app. If you have trouble, get in touch and we will sort it out.
