Why not just use a store registry?
Store registries lock you into one retailer. If the thing you want is at a small shop, or secondhand, or in three different places, a single-store registry cannot hold it. iFancy is store-agnostic on purpose — a list is just a list, and items can come from anywhere.
The other problem with most registries is that they show you exactly what has been bought. That is fine for a wedding, and terrible for a birthday. iFancy inverts it: everyone else can see what is taken, and you cannot, until you decide to look.
Privacy that matches real families
“Who can see this?” rarely has one answer. So each wishlist can be public, friends-only, or private, and individual items can be hidden from specific people. You can also keep yourself out of search entirely and share by link only.
