How to share a wishlist with people who don't have the app
A public iFancy list opens in any browser from a plain link — no account, no download. Here's how to share one, and how to control who sees what.

The most common reason a wishlist goes unused is friction on the other end. You send a link, and the person opening it hits a signup wall. They close the tab, buy something else, and the list may as well not exist.
iFancy is built so that never happens. A public list opens in any browser from a plain link — no account, no app install, nothing to explain over the phone.
Sharing a list
Open the wishlist you want to share and copy your profile link. That link is all anyone needs. It works on a phone, a laptop, or a decade-old iPad, and it shows the list exactly as you've arranged it.
If you'd rather share a specific list than your whole profile, each wishlist has its own link and its own visibility setting.
Choosing who can see it
Every wishlist is set to one of three visibility levels:
- Public — anyone with the link can view it, no account required
- Friends-only — only people who follow you can see it
- Private — only you
Set this per list, not per account. That means your birthday list can be public while a private list stays genuinely private.
Hiding individual items
Sometimes one item on an otherwise shareable list isn't meant for everyone. You can hide individual items from specific people, which is the usual fix for a list that's mostly public but has one thing on it meant for a partner.
Staying out of search
If you'd rather not be findable at all, you can remove yourself from iFancy's search results entirely. People can still open your list, but only if you've given them the link directly.
A note on the surprise
Sharing a list doesn't mean giving up the surprise. When someone marks an item as purchased, everyone except you can see it's taken. You find out on the date you chose — not before.
