Wishlist collaboration is here

You can now build a wishlist together with someone else — useful for couples, family lists, and lists for kids or pets who can't make their own account.

By Tyler Holden

You can now invite someone to collaborate on a wishlist. Both of you can add, edit, and reorder items on the same list.

This came from the most common request we get: two parents keeping separate, half-overlapping lists for the same child, then texting each other links to avoid buying the same thing twice.

How it works

Open a wishlist, invite a collaborator by email, and they'll get a link to accept. Once accepted, the list appears for both of you and edits sync for everyone.

Invites stay pending until accepted, so nothing appears on someone's account without their say-so.

What it's good for

  • Couples keeping a shared household list
  • Parents building a list for a child
  • Anyone maintaining a list for a pet, or for someone who can't make their own account

Availability

Collaboration is live on the web now, and shipping to iOS shortly.
